BACKGROUND

Arguably the most worn shoe amongst chefs, Birkenstocks are adored and adorned by the hospitality industry - yet many are unaware that a professional range exists. Tailored specifically to long hours, slippery floors and hard craft - the team at Birkenstock Professional reached out to ask if we could capture their shoes in some of our favourite kitchens. So we did just that! 

Spending a day or two with some of the country's best chefs, we set out to highlight how Birkenstocks fit neatly into day to day life, both in the kitchen, as well as outside it.
